The gas-liquid separator, also known as the liquid collector, is used to contain the recovered part of the refrigerant in the system, to prevent liquid shock to the compressor, and to prevent the compressor oil from being diluted by excessive refrigerant. The gas-liquid mixture from the evaporator is separated in the gas-liquid separator, the gas enters the compressor directly from the top outlet of the gas-liquid separator, the separated liquid is stored at the bottom of the separator, and the liquid refrigerant is heated in the separator It is vaporized and enters the outlet pipe of the gas-liquid separator. The unliquefied lubricating oil flows into the outlet pipe from the oil return hole, and then enters the compressor, thereby repeating the cycle operation.
In different working environments, the installation position of the gas-liquid separator is different.
1 , gas-liquid separator installed position as close to the compressor;
2. In the gear shift system, it needs to be installed between the reversing valve and the compressor;
3. The gas-liquid separator needs to be installed correctly at the inlet (from the evaporator) and outlet (to the compressor suction port);
4. The gas-liquid separator needs to be installed upwards;
